All Mothers Matter on Mother's Day

May 5th is International Day of the Midwife and on May 10th, families worldwide celebrate Mother’s Day. Mama Zeena

Maternal health is a priority for Merlin and we would like to introduce you to Mama Zeena. A veteran midwife, Mama Zeena is training a new generation of midwives in Liberia. Working in a country where giving birth is one of the most dangerous health risks a woman can face, she is asking for your help.

Trained midwives save lives. Your donation could support vital training:

  • $600 will train a midwife in Liberia
  • $80 pays for a traditional midwife kit in Liberia
  • $50 provides hygienic kits for five student midwives in Afghanistan
