Merlin believes that everyone should have access to the health care they need.

Merlin works to ensure a world that provides health care for all, whether this is in times of crisis or safeguarding longer term health. It does this in two ways:
 
• through good quality programmes in the countries where Merlin works

• through influencing the practice and policy of others

Merlin’s policy and influencing work supports both these aims: by identifying the issues that currently prevent people accessing the health care they need, and by providing the evidence that will inform and inspire decision makers to make the changes needed to ensure access to health care for all.
